BE STILL MEDIA FESTIVAL
Creatives in the CountrysideA Global Gathering of Heart and Art
Be Still Media brings its global community of Fellows to Waverly Springs for an intimate evening celebrating art and the people who create it.
Across dance, film, literature, music, fashion, painting, sculpture, performance, and multimedia art, participating Fellows will share their creative practices and the ideas that shape them. Together, their work explores the questions at the heart of Be Still Media: what we value, how those values shape the way we live, and the role art can play in human flourishing.
Set in the Virginia countryside, the evening brings these different voices and disciplines together with conversation, connection, and culinary offerings from Chef Tarver King.
MANY DISCIPLINES.
ONE GATHERING.
The evening brings together twelve Be Still Media artists from the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, and Germany, each offering a distinct perspective on art and culture.
ENCOUNTER
Experience work from artists across the Be Still Media community and discover the heart, ideas, and questions behind what they create.
REFLECT
Step away from distraction and make room for the questions that art can surface about who we are, how we live, and what it means to flourish.
GATHER
Meet artists and guests from around the world through conversations and shared experiences designed to encourage genuine connection.
FEAST
Come together around the table for a feast rooted in the countryside, where food and hospitality become another way of creating connection.
ART IN SERVICE OF HUMAN FLOURISHING
Be Still Media exists to champion artists and the work they are called to create.
At its heart is a belief that art can do more than capture our attention. It can invite us to look more closely, wrestle with deeper questions, understand one another more fully, and imagine a richer way of being in the world.
By supporting artists and creating space for meaningful work to be encountered, Be Still Media seeks to inspire human flourishing and champion the kind of art that can shape people, communities, and ultimately, the world.
